The Hoyt children got their kids and spouses all together to generously surprised their Mother with family photos for her Birthday. It was so tender watching Mother tear up throughout the session, I was so grateful to be there to photograph these for her. I have had to opportunity to photograph many events for the Hoyts over the last several years, becoming close friends with a few of the siblings and feeling I would be welcome for Sunday dinner any week. This family is one of the many reasons I’m sad to leave this great place.
One thing I will definitely miss about Utah is shooting LARGE family photos. Despite how tired they make me, I absolutely love photographing the different generations and the mass amount of love present. If you have a large family, or a small family, or ANY family and live in Utah, don’t wait until it is “more convenient” to do family photo because lets be honest, it will NEVER be convenient. I’m out of here Sept. 1st, contact me and we’ll plan a date!
