Shortest time I’ve spent at a birth to date. I walked in the door and Lacey was already pushing. Dear sweet Ruby was born 30 mins later. What an emotional and awesome event to be asked to document. When Lacey’s expression went from intensity and focus on pushing to utter amazement and joy in 1 second, I have to admit I lost it, the memory still gets me all teary. Lacey’s immediate words were “Oh my GOSH! Did that just happen?! I just did that!!! …. Hello beautiful.” Amazing.
I love everything about my job. What an honor it was for me to be there with these amazing families and spectacular events. Thank you again Lacey and Kellen, and congratulations!
